We are looking for higly-motivated candidate in the following position.
Business Unit Controller
Our Client is part of an industrial group, operating in the sector of precision mechanics for more than twenty-five years; three different divisions with different expertise in the field. They develop electromechanical components, moulding of technopolymers, automatic assembly system, trimming production, construction of tools and tools for plastic moulding.
Tasks
- Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department
- Perform the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
- Keep under control the reconciliation between local statutory books and Corporate financial reporting
- Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop five year business plans for the company
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
- Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures
- Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff
- Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff
Requirements
- At least Bsc. degree in Finance or Economics
- Chartered accountant certificate
- At least 4-5 years professional experience in controlling area
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian
- Self starter, reliable, systematic and quality-oriented way of working
- High motivation, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
